ASL INTERPRETATION

Not presently available at Fort Selden Historic Site.

 

PARKING AND ENTRANCE

Two designated accessible parking spaces are available in the visitor lot. There are two paved ADA accessible parking spaces at the beginning of the accessible pathway to the visitor center. The rest of the lot is unmarked gravel.

 

SERVICE ANIMALS

Dogs and other animals which qualify as Service Animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act are welcome at the Fort Selden Historic Site and are exempt from fees. 

Under the New Mexico Service Animal Act of 2013, Emotional Support Animals and pets are not considered service animals.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

Wheelchairs are not available at Fort Selden Historic Site.

The Visitor Center and Restrooms are ADA accessible.

The path from the visitor center to the ruins and historic buildings are unpaved and are crusher fines.

Motorized scooters are permitted onsite.

 

ACCESSIBLE PROGRAMS
