ASL INTERPRETATION

ASL interpretation is not presently available at Coronado Historic Site.

 

PARKING AND ENTRANCE

Designated accessible parking spaces are available in the visitor lot at Coronado Historic Site.

  • During normal business hours, there are two paved ADA accessible parking spaces at the beginning of our ADA accessible entry path leading up to the Visitor Center.
  • During  special events, additional ADA spaces are added along the first row of the paved parking lot. 

The accessible route of access from the parking area to the entrance is a paved ADA accessible path from the from the ADA parking spaces into the Visitor Center.   

 

SERVICE ANIMALS

Dogs and other animals which qualify as Service Animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act are welcome at the Coronado Historic Site and are exempt from fees. 

Under the New Mexico Service Animal Act of 2013, Emotional Support Animals and pets are not considered service animals.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

Wheelchairs are not available at Coronado Historic Site.

  • The Visitor Center, Video Room, Interpretive Trail access, and Restrooms are on ground level and ADA accessible.
  • Motorized scooters are permitted onsite.
  • Restrooms are ADA accessible.

 

ACCESSIBLE PROGRAMS

Programs presented in the visitor center and ADA trail are accessible to wheelchairs. Kiva tours are not accessible by wheelchairs.

 

WEBSITE
