ASL INTERPRETATION

ASL interpretation is not presently available at Jemez Historic Site.

 

PARKING AND ENTRANCE

A designated accessible parking space is available in the visitor lot at Jemez Historic Site.

  • During normal business hours, there is one gravel lot ADA accessible parking space at the beginning of our ADA accessible entry path leading up to the Visitor Center.
  • During  special events, additional ADA spaces are added along the first row of the gravel parking lot. 

The accessible route of access from the parking area to the entrance is a paved ADA accessible ramp from the from the ADA gravel parking space into the Visitor Center.   

 

SERVICE ANIMALS

Dogs and other animals which qualify as Service Animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act are welcome at the Jemez Historic Site and are exempt from fees. 

Under the New Mexico Service Animal Act of 2013, Emotional Support Animals and pets are not considered service animals.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

Wheelchairs are available at Jemez Historic Site on a first come, first served basis.

  • The Visitor Center, Interpretive Trail access, and Restrooms are on ground level and ADA accessible.
  • Motorized scooters are permitted onsite.
  • Restrooms are ADA accessible.

 

ACCESSIBLE PROGRAMS

Programs presented in the visitor center and ADA trail are accessible to wheelchairs. Kiva tours are not accessible by wheelchairs.

 

WEBSITE
