Fort Stanton Living History: Caring for our Buildings
At Fort Stanton Historic Site

Join us on the second Saturday of the month in April to September to make history come alive! With regular admission, visitors can enjoy themed days that celebrate the history of the Fort. Special activities include exclusive tours, children’s craft projects, demonstrations, and more. Learn about how the Historic Site cares for its historic buildings during this month’s event. Admission is $7/adults and free to children 16 and younger.
Schedule of Activities:
10 AM: Living History begins
11:30 AM: Tour of the WWII German Internment Camp
11:30 AM- 12:45 PM: Vintage Games
12:45-1:45 PM: Lunch break for Living History actors
12:45-1:45 PM: "History and the Importance of Historic Preservation" Talk by Brittany Porter, Fort Stanton Museum Tech and Conservator
3 PM: Living History ends
