Join the Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area for a workshop held at Los Luceros Historic Site for part two of a remedios, or herbal remedy, workshop.

In this second installment students will continue to create locally sourced remedios, or herbal remedies. This workshop shares New Mexico’s rich traditions of herbal medicine, particularly the practice of curanderismo—a holistic approach to healing that integrates physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Participants will learn and make new recipes. Information, materials, and local herbs will be provided. The workshop is for ages 18 and older. Workshop is $50 per person.
