Día de los Muertos at Lincoln Historic Site

Lincoln community members host the 10th annual town celebration of Día de los Muertos and Lincoln Historic Site plans to build a historic ofrenda in the Luna House celebrating this tradition in honor of the Mexican settlers of the area.
The community celebration includes live music from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., food vendors, and altars created by community members displayed throughout the historic town. Listen to a lecture at 1 p.m. about alebrijes, a colorful Mexican folk art wood carving of mythical animal-like creatures. Admission to the festival is free, but a regular admission of $7/adult (children 16 and younger are free) is required to enter the historic site buildings.
