Flashlight Tour | Fort Stanton Historic Site
At Fort Stanton Historic Site
9/16/23, Saturday
7:00pm - 9:00pm
Fort Stanton has a long and fascinating history. Though it started as a military fort, it served as a tuberculosis sanatorium for many decades. An estimated 1,000 people have died here due to consumption.
Come and see three of our buildings at night, including the chapel and off-limits areas like the back of the hospital and the neighboring building, #4. Explore these spaces and experience Fort Stanton like you haven’t before. The tour is on Saturday, September 16th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The tour is limited to 20 people, and we can only admit visitors 12 years and older. Ticket cost is $20, non-refundable. Flashlights will be provided but you are welcome to use your own.
Please Note: Because of the historic nature of these buildings, we cannot guarantee ADA compliance. These buildings may have tight spaces and there is no elevator.
