Did you know the Pecos River is a great place to bird watch? There are many different species of bird who called the river home. Some of the commonly sited birds include, the Chipping Sparrow, Wild Turkey, American Robin, Cliff Swallow, Common Raven and White-winged Dove. If you are lucky, you may get a glimpse of a Great Blue Heron, Mallard or a Red-tailed Hawk.
