Event Details

In honor of Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, we will be firing up the horno, or outdoor adobe oven, and roasting corn. Randy Tenorio (Santo Domingo) will demonstrate how to roast corn in the horno by sealing the oven door with adobe bricks and mud. Visitors will be able to taste the corn at the end of the program.

This program is included with admission of $7 for adults and free to children 16 years and younger, Tribal members, NM disabled veterans, NM foster families, and FCJHS and MNMF members.
