Let’s fire up the horno! Come join us as we demonstrate how to fire and bake fresh bread in an adobe horno, or outdoor oven. Bread was a staple food for the soldiers stationed at Fort Selden. We will demonstrate how to make the dough, and also how to cook the bread in our outdoor adobe oven. After the bread comes out of the oven, we invite you to break bread with us in honor of Thanksgiving. Cooking outdoors is contingent on weather and fire restrictions.

Workshop is included with admission of $5/adult and free to children 16 and younger, NM Disabled Veterans, NM foster families, and MNMF members.
