At this Book Buddies, Ranger Sage read the book Paco and the Giant Chile Plant. This story is a fun, southwestern twist on “Jack and the Giant Beanstalk.” After reading Paco and the Giant Chile Plant, you will be able to decorate your own paper chile to add to the community plant that will be displayed in the Reynolds Store Visitor Center in Mesilla!

This program is FREE and open to the public.

This collaboration between Taylor-Mesilla Historic Site and Las Cruces Public Libraries highlights children’s books of the Southwest and creates an experience of engaging in fun and local culture. Thomas Branigan Memorial Library is located at 200 E. Picacho Ave., Las Cruces, NM, 88001.
