Join Taylor-Mesilla Historic Site for the quarterly series, “Taylor Talks,” highlighting the history of Mesilla and Southern New Mexico through interesting talks presented by guest speakers.

In this talk, Dennis Daily, Department Head for the Archives & Special Collections at New Mexico State University, will discuss Mary Daniels Taylor & J. Paul Taylor’s connection to the university, looking specifically at Mary’s work with the Durango Microfilm Collection. He will also share about the archival collection of the family, which is housed at the archives and include Paul’s political papers and Mary’s photography.

This talk is FREE and open to the public and will take place at the Mesilla Community Center auditorium, 2251 Calle de Santiago, Mesilla, NM 88046. Presented by New Mexico Historic Sites and the Friends of the Taylor-Mesilla Historic Site. Please call 575-202-1638 for more information.

NOTE ON PARKING & TRAFFIC: Due to construction Calle de Santiago is shut down from Calle de Arroyo and Calle De Picacho. To access the front entrance of the Mesilla Community Center, you will need to find parking and access the building from the west and south sides of the community center.
