Join Taylor-Mesilla Historic Site for a new series of art demonstrations inspired by the wide variety of art styles featured in the collection. Art with Us will introduce different art styles and provide an opportunity to participate in creating art inspired by the particular style featured. This first Art with Us, presented by Ranger Daniel, will introduce tinwork techniques of New Mexico. Daniel will explain why tin became a popular New Mexican folk art, and show some of the tinwork featured in the site’s collection. This ranger program is FREE and open to the public.
