Sunrise Over the Ruins at Fort Selden

Join Fort Selden Historic Site staff to see the sunrise over the historic ruins and the Robledo Mountains. The site will open at 6 a.m. for birding, photography, painting, wildlife viewing, and the cool, fresh morning air. Staff will provide a guided tour of the Fort Selden ruins at 9 a.m. and then at 11 a.m. come inside the Fort Selden Museum to discuss birding. What does it mean to bird? This presentation will highlight some of the best places in southwest New Mexico to go birding and will showcase why those places have such great birding. All programming on this day is included as part of general admissionof $5/adult. Free for children 16 years and younger. Please call 575-526-8911 for more information.
