At Fort Selden Historic Site
3/2/24, Saturday
6:00am - 11:00am
Join Fort Selden Historic Site staff to see the sunrise over the historic ruins and the Robledo Mountains. The site will open at 6:00 a.m. for birding, photography, painting, wildlife viewing, and the cool, fresh morning air. Staff will provide a guided tour of the Fort Selden ruins at 9:00 a.m. and then at 10:00 a.m. participants can learn how to build a campfire. This program highlights why we cook outside, different styles of outdoor cooking, and a little history of campfire cooking at Fort Selden. All programming is included in general admission of $5 per adult. Children 16 years and younger are free. Call 575-526-8911 for more information.
