Flashlight Tours #2 | Fort Stanton Historic Site
At Fort Stanton Historic Site
10/21/23, Saturday
8:30pm - 10:00pm
Fort Stanton has a long and fascinating history. Though it started as a military fort, it served as a tuberculosis sanatorium for many decades. An estimated 1,000 people have died here due to consumption.
Come and see three of our buildings at night, including the chapel and off-limits areas like the back of the hospital and the neighboring building, #4. Explore these spaces and experience Fort Stanton like you haven’t before. The tour is on Saturday, October 21 from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The tour is limited to 20 people, and we can only admit visitors 12 years and older. Ticket cost is $20, non-refundable. Flashlights will be provided but you are welcome to use your own.
On October 21, there will be two Flashlight Tours. This is the second one. For the first, visit the event listing.
Please Note: Because of the historic nature of these buildings, we cannot guarantee ADA compliance. These buildings may have tight spaces and there is no elevator.
